Start by contacting me now and let’s talk about how couples therapy can help you.
“I want to help you build a healthy, intimate and desire-filled relationship that you never believed possible.”
I am originally from Brooklyn, NY but I moved around quite a bit during my school-aged years. I’ve lived in New York, Texas, Florida, California and now North Carolina. I consider North Carolina my home and I’ve raised 2 children here with my husband of 15 years, Chris.
I completed my undergrad at Stony Brook University and my Masters at Hofstra University. Soon after, 9/11 happened and I began working with first responders and families that had lost a loved one. This experience was incredibly humbling and has created in me a deep passion for working with families in crisis.
In my practice, I continue to work with couples in crisis through traditional therapy and couples intensives. I also really enjoy teaching and presenting The Art & Science of Love couples workshop in Asheville and Raleigh, NC. Being able to change the trajectory of a couple’s relationship in just one weekend has been incredibly rewarding.
When I’m not working with couples, I love to spend time with my family watching my son play hockey and my daughter ride horses or just hanging out and watching our favorite TV shows.

“Together, we can uncover your strengths and work to build the you and the relationship that you have always dreamt of.”
Is your relationship not living up to its fullest potential? Are you having trouble connecting with your partner? You aren’t failing. A relationship isn’t a failure because two people are having trouble connecting, two people are just simply having a difficult time understanding one another. The truth is that we won’t always understand each other, as we each have our own distinct personalities, wants, needs, and desires. Let me help you.
I work primarily with adolescents and adults who are experiencing relationship issues, emotional disturbance, and family conflict. Relationships are challenging and often require a lot of effort and communication from all parties involved. I use a variety of therapy models, including Gottman Couple’s Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy so I can tailor to each individual’s specific needs. It is my goal to walk with you so that you can come to better understand each other’s wants, needs, and desires. I will provide you a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where you can work alongside me in your therapeutic journey. Together, we can uncover your strengths and work to build the you and the relationship that you have always dreamt of.
