While each person who views this page ended up here for different reasons, know this: you have already taken the first (and often most difficult) step by seeking support. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to work with you towards mental wellness.
Common issues that we can work together to address:
Feeling “stuck” in life or in your marriage
Seeking a deeper connection with your significant other or a loved one
Dealing with thoughts and feelings of anxiety
Feelings of insecurity, self-doubt, and a lack of motivation
Experiencing a loss or tragedy that has been difficult to process
Finding functional solutions for symptoms of neurodivergence
Feeling unsatisfied or lacking direction in your life or relationships
Wanting to be a better version of yourself
The good news is you are not alone in your feelings, and I am here to help. My name is Mary, and I am an LCMHC-A with experience helping clients facing a wide variety of mental health concerns. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, stress, neurodivergence, life transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. These feelings and experiences can often create a sense of isolation and hopelessness, and if you choose to work with me, know that I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and together, we work collaboratively to encourage positive growth and change.
My approach is individualized, integrative, and holistic; I focus on functional solutions that address the whole person and help them find balance within their lives. My goal is to join each client on their unique journey and support them in achieving greater well-being and self-understanding through an environment of acceptance, empathy, and creativity. I work with teens, adults, and couples, and utilize methods including person-centered talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness.
Beyond the professional world, I find joy in creative hobbies such as painting, drawing, knitting, and sewing. You can often catch me cooking or baking, attempting to garden, or hoarding books to read. I also love spending time with my animals and am passionate about animal welfare and rescue.
If you’d like to schedule an initial appointment with me, please feel free to book your appointment online or call us at 919-551-7222.
