“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ”
There are seasons in life when things feel heavy, confusing, or difficult to untangle alone. You may notice the same struggles showing up in your relationships, feel the lingering impact of painful experiences, or simply feel unsure about how to move forward. Therapy offers a space where you do not have to carry those questions by yourself. My goal is to create an environment where individuals, couples, and families can slow down, reflect honestly, and feel genuinely supported as they begin to understand their experiences in new ways.
As a Marriage and Family Therapy intern with a concentration in trauma-informed care, I am especially interested in how our past relationships, family patterns, and emotional experiences influence the way we show up in the present. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and intergenerational approaches to help clients recognize patterns, explore the meaning behind their emotions, and strengthen their relationships. Together we will look at the beliefs, experiences, and relational dynamics that may be shaping your current challenges while also identifying the strengths and resilience you already carry.
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about both their pain and their hopes. Therapy is not about judgment or quick fixes but about creating understanding and building new ways of relating—to yourself and to others. Whether you are seeking clarity, healing from past wounds, or hoping to improve the quality of your relationships, I would value the opportunity to support you in that process. If you would like to learn more about working together, you’re welcome to schedule an appointment online or call 919-213-0752 to begin a conversation about what you’re hoping to gain from the process.
