My firm belief in the profound power of human connection underpins my approach to therapy. I understand that when we forge secure bonds with others, we can achieve our goals, pursue our dreams, and navigate life’s journey more effectively. This belief is at the core of my practice and drives my work with clients.
I am deeply committed to helping individuals and couples thrive; I harness the transformative power of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe and accepted. These evidence-based, cutting-edge techniques, especially when combined, can unlock inner resilience and understanding and foster deeper emotional connections and lasting relationships.
I believe in self-determination; you have the tools within you to determine your best path. I approach the therapeutic process from a systemic perspective; changing yourself results in changes around you.
In my spare time, I adore supporting my young adult son, hiking or cooking with my husband, and spending time with family and friends. Because of my ever-evolving curiosity about people, I can often be found at the grocery store, in the street or on planes, listening to people I have just met; even the most mundane stories from their lives mesmerize me!
