Meet Aaron Stamper
It’s not easy to face the painful or confusing parts of life on your own. Maybe you’ve tried to open up, but others don’t seem to listen, understand, or truly see what you’re going through. In those moments, it’s natural to wish someone could walk beside you — someone who can help shine a light in the dark and guide you toward hope and healing.
I would be honored to be that person for you.
I’m Aaron Stamper, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, and my passion is helping individuals, couples, and families explore their stories in a safe, supportive space. Together, we’ll look at how past experiences shape your present, uncover what’s holding you back, and work toward creating a life that reflects your deepest values and goals. My approach is collaborative and compassionate — rooted in the belief that healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and understood.
In our work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. My Christian worldview informs my values and how I show up in the room, but I welcome and respect clients from all beliefs and backgrounds.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a board game enthusiast and Dungeon Master, a proud dad to a wonderful daughter, and a husband to my best friend. Originally from Dallas, TX, I’ve lived overseas and now call North Carolina home.
Taking the first step can feel scary — but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’d like to connect and see if we’re a good fit, you can schedule an appointment through our online form or call us at 919-551-7222 to talk through your goals for therapy.
