Alyssa Davis, LMFT

The key finding of the Harvard Longevity Study, the world’s longest study of health and aging, is that good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Relationship satisfaction is tied to better moods, dealing with physical pain, and overall health. This is why I am passionate about helping couples and individuals create the necessary conditions for health and happiness.  Every journey is unique and I celebrate the personal differences that each client brings to therapy. 

Utilizing best practice and research driven methodology, we will collaboratively find your path to healing and wholeness. I pull from Emotionally Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method and Collaborative Therapy models when working with clients.  

I collaborate with couples and individuals to explore their challenges and overcome the obstacles that might be getting in the way of their goals. It is considered a privilege to walk beside client’s and blaze new trails.

About Alyssa Davis:  

I come from a military family and have lived in many locations in the United States as well as abroad. Making a positive impact on people’s lives is a passion and where I find meaning in my own life.  I started my career in education and transitioned into the field of Marriage and Family Therapy where my enthusiasm for this work was realized. When not working, my partner and I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and our dog. I enjoy the outdoors, exercising, and traveling whenever possible.

Alyssa completed Gottman Level 2
