Each person seeks out therapy for different reasons. It could be you are a couple wanting a more intimate connection, a family adjusting to life transitions, or an individual feeling stuck. As we begin our work together, my goal is that we create an authentic space for you to explore where you are, the experiences you have had, and what you are hoping to change.
I understand there is no single approach to address everyone's needs. I will pull from different modalities such as EMDR, Somatic, Experiential, CBT, Mindfulness, and Gottman Couples Therapy techniques to tailor a holistic and individualized approach as we develop a plan to meet you or your relationship's desired outcomes. We will work collaboratively at developing the tools you need so, when it is time, you can exit therapy with the resources to live the life you want.
My background is in Public Behavioral Health and I/DD Services where I have 18 years experience working in both clinical and administrative roles. I'm originally from New Jersey and received my BS in Psychology from Towson University and my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University.
I am passionate about working with Adults and Young Adults looking to address: Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Caregiver Stress, Life Transitions, Grief, Premarital Counseling, Couples Counseling, and Adjustment to Medical/Developmental Diagnosis.
If you’d like to schedule an initial appointment with me, please feel free to book your appointment online or call us at 919-551-7222.
